Her Lens Speaking Engagement

On Tuesday night, I spoke at the Ladybug Music Festival's event Her Lens: Stories by Women on Screen. We screened Invasion '53 for a packed house at The Screening Room at 1313 in Wilmington, Delaware, and then there was a spirited Q&A and lots of networking afterward. The audience reception was great. One of my favorite lines--"Where is my wife?"--got a huge laugh. And there were thoughtful questions, not only about making Invasion '53 but also about the current industry landscape and indie film's rising place within it. I'd like to thank Gordon DelGiorno for inviting me to speak and Dr. Dan Young and the Ladybug team for throwing such a great event.
