Having a (Genre)Blast in Winchester

This weekend, Invasion '53 screened at GenreBlast in Winchester, Virginia. I was joined at the festival by cast members John Judy, Rick Kain, Dan Franko, and Bill Thomas. It's always great fun reuniting with the gang from Invasion '53.

The screen at the Alamo Drafthouse is huge! It was a real treat to watch our movie in that theatre. The film got a tremendous reaction from the audience, and afterward, many people came up to speak with me about the movie, including one fan who also watched it at Comic-Con!

We capped off the fest by winning Best Regional Short Film! I'd like to thank Nathan Ludwig and the entire GenreBlast team.
